More Lesser Knowns
During the Lesser Known Candidate Forum, Richard "Mad Dog" Caligiuri, center, presidential candidate and operator of an ice cream and hamburger stand said, "I don't know who talked us into 'Give us your tired, your poor, your wretched excess.' I say, 'Give us your rich, your smart, your good-looking, tall, blond women!"

Obama's My Man
Prospect Mountain High School freshman Marcos Pagan, 14, shows his Barack Obama pride during a visit from the Presidential hopeful at his school in Alton. Pagan, who is Puerto Rican, says that as a minority it inspires him to see a black candidate running for office. "It shows that anyone can have power in the government," Pagan said. He and his two sisters made t-shirts for Obama's visit. Pagan also applauds Obama's ideas about healthcare and the removal of troops from Iraq. "He supports everything I believe in," Pagan says.
